Rabiat A. Atanda
Career Mentor
Rabiat Atanda is from Nigeria. A Master of Science student in Applied Statistics here at NDSU with the hope to transition to Ph.D. after her MSc. studies. She is passionate about working with data to generate profound insight for the development of products that enhance human convenience.
On Campus, she is involved in Bison Fund, volunteering with the Transitioning and Access Program (TAP). When off campus, she is either involved with the Eide Bailey BOLD Program, taking online classes for career development or spending time with family and friends.
Rabiat enjoys working with students to navigate their path successfully. Hence, her reason for being a Career Mentor on campus.
Chase Balken
Marketing Assistant
Chase is from Rothsay, Minnesota. She is a junior at NDSU majoring in marketing while also earning a certificate in professional selling. She hopes to work in a corporate setting after graduation by helping companies promote their products and services. On campus she is involved with the Business Connections program, and off campus involved in the Eide Bailly BOLD program. She is excited to work closely with the students and faculty, and build stronger connections at NDSU. Outside of school, Chase enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to farmer’s markets, and watching the newest reality TV shows.
Brooke Basten
Peer Navigator
Brooke is from Burnsville, Minnesota. She is a sophomore at NDSU majoring in nursing. On campus she is involved in Student Nursing Association and Women’s Health and Wellness Club. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and watching reality TV shows. She is looking forward to being a Peer Navigator because she wants to help students thrive and succeed.
Raima Bose

Raima is an international undergraduate transfer student from Kolkata, India, currently pursuing a major in Business Administration at NDSU. With a strong commitment to supporting my peers, she joined the Career & Advising Center to deepen her understanding of management and human resources while actively contributing to student career development. Her background and experiences have fueled her passion for guiding others and fostering growth within diverse professional environments. Eager to make a meaningful impact, she looks forward to leveraging her skills and knowledge to assist fellow students and gain valuable insights in her field of interest.
Jahzara Davis
Career Mentor
Jahzara is an undergraduate transfer student from Washington State. She completed her General Associate of Arts degree at Tacoma Community College. She’s pursuing a Biochemistry Bachelor of Science at NDSU while being involved with their Plant Pathology research on campus. She’s looking forward to strengthening her skills of offering career guidance and support to Bison students and alumni. After her studies, you can catch her biking, swimming laps at the wellness center, and reading Stuart Woods novels.
Kaitlyn Forehand
Pathway Peer Mentor
Kaitlyn Forehand is from Mahnomen Minnesota. She is a sophomore at NDSU majoring in psychology with hopes of going into the counseling or criminal justice field. On campus, she is involved in NRHH, Psych Club, HDFS club, and a part of the Mental Health First Aider Program. She is excited to be a student Pathway Mentor to help students find their way on campus with resources and guidance throughout their future years at NDSU. In her free time, she enjoys photography, hanging out with friends & family, and watching TV shows.
Patrick Kadrmas
Career Mentor
Patrick is from Fargo, North Dakota and is a second-year student at NDSU. He has a dual major of Social Science Education & History. He is currently one of many hosts of NDSU’s own student radio, KNDS 96.3 FM. While on the air, he has played songs from R&B, Pop, and Alternative music genres, while hosting some faculty for interviews, including NDSU President David Cook. Reasons for him wanting to become a Career Mentor are that he enjoys seeing people succeed and wants to be a helpful step for that success. Outside of classes, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and listening to multiple genres of music.
Anna Pfliger
Career Mentor
Anna is from Bismarck, North Dakota, and is a sophomore at NDSU. She is majoring in Computer Science and getting a certificate in Cybersecurity. After graduation, she plans to work in software development. On campus she is involved in Society of Women Engineers, Wind Symphony, and the Gold Star Marching Band. She is excited to work as a Career Mentor because she wants to help people reach their career goals.
Arian Sadeghi
Career Mentor
Arian is from Tehran, Iran, and is a second year student studying Business Administration at NDSU. He is interested in international business and wants to learn more about sales managing, accounting and marketing. His favorite hobby is trying underrated and less globally known foods from different countries and he is also familiar with programming languages like JavaScript and C++ because of his brother who has a big passion for video game design. At the Career and Advising Center, Arian looks forward to help and support other students to reach their professional goals and desired jobs in their field of expertise.
Emma Stuber

Emma is from Moorhead, Minnesota and is a junior here at NDSU. She is majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences. On campus she is involved in Greek Life (Kappa Delta Sorority) and Order of Omega. She is excited to be a Peer Navigator because she loves helping students find resources on campus. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading, and loves coffee!
Sawyer Teicher
Career Mentor
Sawyer is from St. Francis, MN. He is a sophomore at NDSU and is majoring in Dietetics along with a minor in Psychology. With dietetics, Sawyer’s main goal is to work with patients and clients to reach their dietary and health goals. Additionally, Sawyer is hoping to teach nutrition either at a high school or college level. He is excited to start at the Career and Advising Center and work with students to build resumes, answer questions, and help toward achieving their career goals. On campus, Sawyer is a part of the Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics. In his free time, Sawyer enjoys baking, hanging out with his friends, playing disc golf, and playing video games.

Faith Dusbabek is from Princeton, Minnesota studying Accounting. She is a sophomore and after graduation she plans on getting her master’s degree in accounting. Then, she wants to start studying for the CPA exam to become a certified public accountant. On campus she is involved in Chi Alpha and the Business Connections program. She is excited to be a career mentor because she wants to help students with their resumes and career goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the lake, and reading.
