Career Outcomes Report

Since 1995, the NDSU Career and Advising Center has conducted an annual survey to gather information about the career and educational outcomes of graduates earning undergraduate and graduate degrees. Through surveys, follow-up phone calls, and electronically sourced information, the survey collects data on employment, continuing education, salaries, and other post-graduation outcomes within six months of graduation to produce the Career Outcomes Report.

The annual report provides a comprehensive snapshot of graduates from every major across campus who completed their degrees in August, December, and May of the previous academic year.

This data helps demonstrate the value and impact of an NDSU degree while also providing valuable insight for students, families, academic programs, employers, and the university community. The information is used to identify career trends, evaluate student outcomes, strengthen programs and services, support institutional planning, and highlight the success of NDSU graduates.

NDSU follows standards established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) to ensure accurate, consistent, and meaningful reporting of graduate outcomes.
