The BAT Club offers students opportunities to participate in professional and social activities with other students at the local, regional, and national levels. BAT Club members take an active part in the annual Agricultural Technology Expo, go on field trips and are involved in public service activities. Being an active participant in student organizations helps students develop leadership, teamwork, organization and communication skills. These skills are highly sought by those industries that hire College of Agriculture graduates.
The object of this Club to promote directly and indirectly the interests of the students in agricultural mechanization-related fields and all other fields who share the interests of the agricultural industry. It shall acquaint the students with practical phases of Agriculture and develop in them a professional point of view. It shall encourage, promote, and support student publications and professional and social activities of the College of Agriculture and the college itself, and create an atmosphere that students interested in the Agricultural industry will enjoy being around.
