Position Description
The Breezeline Market & Competitive Intelligence internship is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to collect and curate market and competitive intelligence (MI/CI) for the organization.

This includes competitor positioning, offers, and strategy, consumer trends, technology developments, resource and supplier issues, legal and regulatory updates, and macroeconomic indicators. The Market & Competitive Intelligence intern will start to develop a new and better approach to delivering foundational MI/CI insight that becomes a recognized and sought-after resource supporting well-informed marketing, product, and operational decisions.

Internship candidates should possess excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills along with great attention to detail and a strong desire to collaborate and learn. While deep industry knowledge is not required, the role will require getting up to speed quickly, an ability to distinguish relevant content from ‘noise’, and an understanding of how to transform market and competitive information into useful, curated insight. Some prior research experience (academic or professional) is a plus.
This is a hybrid role that will work out of our Quincy, MA headquarters two days a week and from home three days a week.

Develop an approach to sharing key MI/CI insight with key organizational stakeholders
Become a ‘go-to’ subject matter expert on broadband/cable/mobile competitors and market dynamics
Collaborate with Customer Experience (CX) team and extended marketing team stakeholders to incorporate MI/CI efforts into a more comprehensive and holistic insight engine
Explore and evaluate external MI/CI intelligence platforms that offer an opportunity to automate the collection and sharing of insight
Document work and insight generated to create visibility, facilitate collaboration, and ensure permanence/continued value
Participate in regularly scheduled CX team and marketing team meetings
