Sabrina is currently a sophomore majoring in accounting at NDSU. She grew up in Kenyon, Minnesota, and in her free time enjoys playing golf, reading books, watching movies, being outside in nature, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Bison. As a Career Mentor, Sabrina is excited to assist students and alumni with career exploration, interview prep, job searches, resume and cover letter review, and anything else career-related!
Bruno P. Lozano
In his everyday path to leadership, Bruno can be found in the Career Center helping students with resume, cover letters, interviews, and more. When he isn’t helping students he works to create interesting articles that will improve a student not only in the workforce, but in their personal life. Bruno has had multiple work experiences during his life that has proven helpful to his growth as a leader. He main focus is his academic career but he enjoys being with friends. Aside from creating goals that will let him shine academically, his side goal is to create the best latte art at home. This coffee fanatic is excited to work with all types of students. Helping students find their future path in the workforce is more rewarding than a fresh cup of coffee on a Monday morning.
Morgan is a freshman from Brooten, Minnesota majoring in Animal Science. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog and many cats. When she isn’t studying, you can find her cracking jokes with her friends. She also likes to help others which is why she enjoys working in the Career Center. As a mentor, she wants to prepare other students for their careers by assisting them with their resumes, cover letters, and more!
Graduate Career Mentor
Major: Educational Leadership – Higher Education Master’s program
As a Career Mentor, Andrea can be found helping students fine tune their resumes, cover letters, assist in interview prep, and helping students with career exploration.
Andrea is currently a graduate student in the Educational Leadership – Higher Education track Master’s program to pursue her dream of being an academic advisor! She thrives helping students discover their own career path by guiding them along the way.
Outside of the Career Center, Andrea enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family. She loves to play board games, try new restaurants, and spend time outdoors, while trying not to get sunburned! :)
Nathan Seefeldt is a senior from Monticello, MN and is currently studying to be an Electrical Engineer. As a Career Mentor, Nathan’s responsibilities include answering the phone, conducting mock interviews, and helping students with resume/cover letter help, career exploration, and whatever other questions they may have. Beyond life at the office, he enjoys hanging with friends, exploring the outdoors, biking around campus, and playing the ukulele. He is also heavily involved on campus in Chi-Alpha and Engineering Ambassadors, which provide him even more opportunities to connect to and relate with fellow students.
Career Mentor, Katie Skalicky, keeps herself busy in the career studio and Barry Hall with resume and cover letter critiques, answering phone calls, presenting and marketing upcoming career fairs and expos to classes throughout campus, and being one of the first friendly faces you see while walking in to the Career Center. Katie is currently pursuing a degree in Crop and Weed Science with Biotechnology and minoring in Agricultural Communication. She plans to use her degree to work with global food security issues in hopes of being involved in the elimination of world hunger. Before joining the Career Center staff, she has worked with many agriculture business throughout the past couple of summers through internships. In Katie’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, exploring Fargo, attending Bison sporting events, and coaching for the Fargo Polars girl’s lacrosse program.
Elizabeth is a sophomore currently majoring in Human Development and Family Science as well as Women and Gender Studies. When she is not answering the phone or helping students in the Career Center, you can always find her petting any dog that steps foot on campus. She grew up in Maple Grove Minnesota on a hobby farm where she spent most of her childhood outdoors and with animals. In her free time she still enjoys being active outdoors, as well as reading and watching movies. Elizabeth also spends time volunteering at the Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue, and Education center in Fargo.
Alecia Vogl is currently a second year architecture student at NDSU. Her career goal after graduation is to become a licensed architect and apply her design skills to her future career. She grew up in Webster, South Dakota and enjoys spending time with my family and friends, playing sports, binge watching Netflix, and volunteering for different organizations. As a Career Mentor, Alecia can help you improve resumes and cover letters, find jobs or internships, navigate through CareerLink, LinkedIn, and more.
Cody is currently a sophomore here at NDSU and is majoring in Industrial Engineering & Management. He grew up in Wayzata, Minnesota and enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching shows and movies, listening to music & podcasts on Spotify, and participating in student organizations on campus. As a Career Mentor, Cody assists students with resumes and any other career related documents, answers the phone, helps students find/apply for jobs and internships, and much more. His favorite part about being a Career Mentor is interacting and making connections with new people and helping them reach their career aspirations.
Bryn is from the small town of Perham, Minnesota currently a junior pursuing a double major in Management and Global Business, with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. She is very excited to be at the Career and Advising Center and looks forward to working with everyone, with all their career needs. She spends most of her time as a student athlete participating in the Woman’s Track and Field/Cross Country program. When not running, she has a passion for travel and plans to one day live somewhere in Europe working for her dream job.
Morgan Hovde is a sophomore majoring in Political Science. She enjoys writing, meeting new people and spending time with friends. Though whenever she has free time you’ll find her shopping for more clothes she knows she doesn’t need. Her career goal is to one day fulfill her dream of working on Capitol Hill. As a Career Mentor, she hopes that she can encourage others do go for every goal they have no matter how big or small they may be.
Jacob Hutchins is an English Education Major at NDSU. At the Career and Advising Center, Jacob loves to help students with their resumes and enjoys answering the phone. Jacob’s favorite hobbies outside of work are reading and running, and he can often be found doing homework at a coffee shop. His drink of choice is a Turtle Mocha from Caribou Coffee or a Matcha Tea Latte from Starbucks. Jacob is involved in Bison Ambassadors and Bison Guides on campus and loves to help welcome incoming and new students to the Bison community. Jacob is excited to be an English teacher for high school students and loves to be around students and school.
Abby is a junior from Maple Grove, MN studying Strategic Communication with a minor in Sociology. In her work at the Career and Advising Center, she enjoys helping students and alumni with resumes, cover letters, interviews, major/career exploration, refining LinkedIn profiles, and more. Abby’s goal within her career is to work in sports PR and marketing. When she isn’t in the office, you can find her writing, showing people pictures of her dog, watching sports, and staying inside during the winter.
Sophie Semanko is currently a first year in the Interior Design program here at NDSU. Born and raised in Fargo, Sophie decided to move away for college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but soon realized NDSU was where she belonged. Since coming to NDSU, Sophie has become a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Lutheran Student Fellowship, and Tri Delta. Sophie is excited to help her peers with any career questions or needs they have. Whether it be checking over a resume, searching for internships, or holding a mock interview, Sophie is ready to listen and work with you as you prepare for your future!
Brianna is a freshman from Jordan, Minnesota majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Microbiology. When not working at the Career and Advising Center helping students with resumes, cover letters, and more, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching movies. She is also involved in multiple clubs and the residence halls on campus. She is very excited to start working with everyone this semester!

Allison is a fourth-year graduate student in psychology. She grew up in Sherrard, Illinois, and completed her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University. As a career mentor, Allison is excited to help students with all steps of the career development process, such as career exploration, resume and cover letter creation, and interview preparation. In her free time, she loves cooking and baking, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, and spending time with her family!
