The Career and Advising Center’s biggest event, the Fall Career Expo is coming up this week! The Career Expo is a great place for students to create connections in their field. This is your one stop shop for all the information you need to get ready for this big day!
WHO: All Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral students as well as students from local surrounding universities and NDSU Alumni!
WHAT: A place for all to go and explore opportunities in their field and get their name in the books to look for future internships. There will be over 250 employers from different industries at this fair.
What to bring to the fair?
- Make sure to have printed out copies of your resume to hand to employers. Don’t have a resume or want to have it reviewed before the fair? Our office can help you with that! Schedule a appointment with us or come on in during our drop in hours for help with any career documents.
- Your student ID to check in at the expo
- It is recommended to wear a business professional outfit that you feel confident in! If you don’t have a business professional outfit, come check out our career closet where you can find your perfect outfit!
WHERE: The Fargodome! All parking in the Fargodome will be free on this day.
WHEN: September 20th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
WHY: To see different opportunities in your field and to connect with those in your industry. It is a great experience for anyone from freshman to alumni!
Headshots will also take place between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm for all student attendee’s! Use this headshot for your LinkedIn or any other professional setting. Did I mention that these headshots are free?
