Curious to see how your interests and some personality traits could be combines into various career paths?

Check out CareerExplorer, for FREE!!!  This online assessments takes about 20 – 30 minutes to complete, and your results will remain on an online account for you to go back to and revisit as you have time.

Here’s what the resource offers:

  • A list of 12 “career matches” based on how you’ve answered the assessment questions
  • List of characteristics that may make you unique and could assist with determining more appropriate career fields
  • “Personality Report” – describes how some of your traits may combine to fit certain roles and highlight some probable skills
  • “Trait Report” – based on your answers, it will categorize you in 6 different areas of interest, or Holland Codes

Like most free tools online, this resource also offers more details to your report for a fee.  The Career and Advising Center highly encourages you to reach out to our office before doing so to learn about other free or less expensive resources that may lead you to the answers you are seeking.
