Welcome to NDSU! We are excited to get to know you and assist with registering for your first semester of classes.
Follow these steps to schedule your individual appointment with an academic advisor for your major.
These appointments are virtual on Zoom.
1. Click on your major in the alphabetical list below. Click the yellow “Schedule an Appointment” button. Some majors also advise based on the first letter of your last name. A new page will open up after you select the correct option.
2. November 3 is the first available appointment time for new incoming students. You may need to change the month to November to see available times.
3. Enter your name, email, phone number, and any notes you’d like to share with the advisor. Please use an email address that you check regularly, as this is where the confirmation email, Zoom link, and reminder emails will be sent.
4. Answer the question at the bottom of the page to indicate your NDSU Student ID number and select Book to finalize your appointment.
5. Please read the confirmation email and reminder emails as the appointment gets closer for important information to have available during the appointment to help your registration go smoothly (Log in information to Campus Connection, access to transfer credit information, etc.).
6. Please call the Career and Advising Center at 701-231-7111 if you need assistance scheduling your new student registration appointment or have questions. We look forward to meeting and welcoming you to NDSU!!
