About NRL: The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) serves as the corporate research laboratory for the Navy, Marine Corps, and the broader Department of War. Operating since 1923, the laboratory conducts basic and applied research to deliver groundbreaking science and technology that ensures a decisive, asymmetric edge for the warfighter. Its innovative work spans domains from the depths of the ocean to the vastness of space, historically producing pioneering advancements such as the development of radar and onion routing

About the Team: The Administrative Office of the Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD) is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of the administrative and management functions of the Division and for providing program analyses support for the Superintendent.

About the Job: The incumbent will utilize Microsoft Office to perform various functions such as preparing forms, logging documents, reviewing travel orders, and organizing data. They will prepare a wide range of documents in final format. This position is developmental in nature and is supervised by more tenured staff.

About you: At minimum, the incumbent will posses:

  1. Knowledge of office automation equipment and software.
  2. The ability to maintain a filing system
  3. The ability to research and apply a variety of rules and regulations
  4. The ability to work effectively in teams.

Note: This announcement is for full-time, in-person position located at NRL in SW Washington, DC. This announcement may be used to fill multiple positions.
