Major Carnival

At the Career and Advising Center, we’ve teamed up with Academic Advisors to bring to campus the Major Carnival!  This is a free event, open to all NDSU students of any degree level.  This will be an opportunity for students to learn more about the Colleges and majors or minors that are offered here at NDSU.

At the Major Carnival, representatives and advisors from every college and many departments on campus will set up booths with information and giveaways related to their respective areas.  The staff and faculty will be there to answer students’ questions and provide them the details that they may need to declare a major, change their major, or decide on a minor to add.

This year we are going with a carnival theme, where students will be able to get some carnival snacks, play some games, and enter for chances to win prizes.  However, the biggest and best prize is students finding a major or minor that they are the excited about!!!  We encourage any and all students to come and bring a friend.  Here’s what to expect:

When:  October 1st, 2019 from 11 am to 2 pm

Where:  Great Plains Ballroom, Upper Level of the Memorial Union

Why:  Enjoy refreshments, have fun with the games and booths, and make a well-thought out decision about your next move!

Who:  Staff and faculty from across campus to represent their department or college, and students attending of any degree level and for various reasons (major/minor exploration, talk with faculty/staff from the department, etc.) See the list of the Fall 2019 Participating Majors/Departments below.
