For some students, a nudge in the right direction via online assessments may be the trick to guiding them to and defining their future career goals!
Become empowered to achieve greater satisfaction with work and life! iStartStrong puts self-discovery into the hands of anyone seeking career direction. Based on results from the most respected career assessment tool, the Strong Interest Inventory® assessment, this personalized report paints a picture of how one’s interests and themes link to various jobs, work settings, and career fields. Use it to expand your career options and chart a plan of action toward finding a fulfilling career.
iStartStrong takes 20-40 minutes to complete online, and is $10.75 to purchase. Click the “Buy Now” button to be taken to the NDSU Marketplace website to complete a credit card transaction. After the payment has been processed, a NDSU Career and Advising Center staff member will send the purchaser a link within 1 business day to complete the iStartStrong online.
Assessment results are usually sent to students within 24 business hours. In addition, faculty and advisors can upload a list of students they would like to take an iStartStrong assessment as part of a class. Students pay for assessments independently.
iStartStrong is a self-interpretable version of the Strong Interest Inventory® – both assessments are published by CPP.
