How do I know when I should raise an alert on a student?

There are many ways you might identify that a student is struggling

• Poor test/quiz scores
• Poor assignment quality
• Missing coursework
• Poor attendance

The biggest indicator that a student may need an alert raise is there is a change in their academic behavior

• You notice a student used attend and no longer does
• You notice a student used to participate in the online discussion boards, but no longer does
• You notice a student used to sit in front and participate, but now sits in the back and doesn’t contribute
• You notice a student initially did well on exams and their grades are now dropping
