Report to Senior Pastor
-Facilitate corporate worship experiences
-Pray about, plan and execute worship setlists that support and amplify the weekly message.
-Cultivate a prophetic, skillful and spontaneous worship environment in which the Holy Spirit flows unhindered.
-Schedule band members and singes using Planning Center.
-Rehearse with musicians and singers in preparation for corporate worship experiences.
-Hire individuals to “fill in the gaps” for corporate and holiday worship experiences.
-Recruit new singers and musicians to join the team.
-Arrange music for holiday worship experiences.
-Spend time with singers and musicians via phone calls, texting, and in-person meetings.
-Facilitate group and individual prayer with the team.
-Facilitate opportunities for spiritual growth, such as book studies, seminars, encouraging them to participate in outside worship events, etc.
-Cultivate an atmosphere of joy and creativity in rehearsals.
-Encourage the team to pursue the Lord wholeheartedly.
-Grow the team’s insensitivity to the move of the Holy Spirit in corporate and small group worship experiences.
-Southridge Staff Responsibilities
–Attend weekly staff meetings.
–Help with all-church events outside of my immediate purview, including Night to Shine, VBS, Trunk or Treat, etc.
-Help with podcasts, prayer times, discussions, etc.
-Weekly check-in with Pastor Mark regarding Sunday Service.
-Report financial details to Financial Administrator.
-Prayer and Bible Study/reading
-Learn and practice worship songs.
-Facilitate my own spiritual growth through attending conferences, listening to podcasts, receiving spiritual/leadership mentoring and/or musical instruction, etc.
