The Assistant Teacher for a Threes Class is considered a full-time position beginning in September 2026 and ending June 2027.
In addition to calendar holidays, the school is closed for 2 weeks during the winter holidays and 2 weeks in for spring break.
The Assistant Teacher would share responsibilities with the Threes Head Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
Assist the Head Teacher in the following:
- Establishing and maintaining classroom culture
- Implementing and updating curriculum as students needs dictate
- Observing and recording children’s development
- Organizing classroom and supplies
- Preparing for and contributing to 2 Parent/Teacher conferences per child
- Preparing for and contributing 3 Evening School Events
- Attending staff meetings
