The Assistant Teacher for a Threes Class is considered a full-time position beginning in September 2026 and ending June 2027.

In addition to calendar holidays, the school is closed for 2 weeks during the winter holidays and 2 weeks in for spring break.

The Assistant Teacher would share responsibilities with the Threes Head Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum

Assist the Head Teacher in the following:

  • Establishing and maintaining classroom culture
  • Implementing and updating curriculum as students needs dictate
  • Observing and recording children’s development
  • Organizing classroom and supplies
  • Preparing for and contributing to 2 Parent/Teacher conferences per child
  • Preparing for and contributing 3 Evening School Events
  • Attending staff meetings
