Open Play Therapy provides pediatric therapy services to babies and toddlers from 0 to 3 years old in the comfort of their homes. These services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA, and infant education services. Our clients are children that are development delayed with diagnoses such as muscle weakness, low tone, hypertonicity, Down syndrome, and other genetic conditions. We’re proud to help children across the San Diego and Imperial counties thanks to the compassionate care that our high-level therapists provide.
We are currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team! Qualified candidates will possess the following capabilities:

- Provide quality care
Responsibilities:
- Driving to clients’ homes to provide speech therapy sessions & parent education
- Assisting SLPs in evaluating levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty
- Helping teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency under SLP’s supervision
- Assisting SLPs help clients improve vocabulary and sentence structure
- Help SLP work with clients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow
Required Qualifications
- Driver’s License
- SLPA license in California
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents and/or developmental disabilities
