Responsibilities:
- Explore the role of a marketing consultant and the intricacies of the advertising industry.
- Engage with potential clients to uncover their needs and identify sales opportunities through questioning and analysis.
- Analyze marketing and sales data to inform strategies and improve outcomes.
- Develop and prepare presentations tailored for prospective clients.
- Initiate contact with local business leaders through cold calls and other outreach methods.
- Assist in the creation and execution of strategic advertising/marketing plans that meet the specific needs of each client.
- Manage and service existing accounts while prospecting new opportunities in the Bismarck area.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and plan effective campaigns and creative messaging for clients.
- Maintain monthly reports on sales progress against goals and objectives.
- Participate in occasional day travel for client meetings and industry events.
Work Schedule:
- 16-24 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling options: half-days or full days, depending on academic commitments and company needs.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a college degree program related to Business, Marketing, Sales, or a similar field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural flair for engaging with others.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and a keen interest in the advertising industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to team goals.
