Monachil Capital Partners is actively seeking an Investment Summer Analyst that will assist in the evaluation and execution of a growing number of private credit and debt investment opportunities spanning all asset classes and geographies. The position will report into the team responsible for the origination and structuring of new investments.
Role Description
- Assist with diligence and execution of private debt investment opportunities across multiple asset classes and geographies
- Evaluate loan-level portfolio data and identify trends related to performance
- Analyze diligence information to form view on future investment performance that will drive key components of term sheets
- Create and update investment transactions memos regarding new and existing fund investments
- Evaluate and monitor the ongoing performance of existing investments
- Complete research projects on potential investments and industries of interest
- Maintain deal pipeline and document all screened investment opportunities
Candidate Requirements
- Current college junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, math, or STEM fields with an expected graduation date of May 2027
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Proven leadership and demonstrated ability to work well in a team
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts
- Ability to work in New York City
