Kitchen & Culinary Positions open for Summer 2025

Buck’s Rock Performing and Creative Summer Camp, a residential freedom of choice camp for kids 11-17, is hiring food prep, steward, potwashers and Culinary Counselor positions.
We serve 65,000 meals every summer to campers and staff. You will learn about cooking cooking, ordering and serving for various dietary restrictions, on a large scale.
- Total Dates of Employment: June 16 – August 18, 2024
- Salary range: $4100-$5100 seasonally
- Lodging: Dorm-style housing, a short walk from all other camp amenities

Buck’s Rock’s kitchen staff consists of approximately 18-22 people under the direct supervision of the Chef and Sous Chefs. These staff members are responsible for the preparation, cooking, and proper storage of all camp meals. They are to work together as a team in a manner that is professional and appropriate to the camp environment.
Note: At least one year of manual labor and/or commercial kitchen or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
