Employer Info:

Employer registration will open on July 1st and will close on September 2nd, or when space capacity has been met. The Fall Career Expo is a one-day event open to all NDSU students, NDSU alumni, and students from local universities/colleges. This event is not open to the general public. The Career Expo provides an opportunity for employers to connect with students to discuss current and/or future employment or internship opportunities. This event is only for bona fide employers looking to fill internships and full-time positions that require or prefer at least a four-year degree. Anyone wanting to participate for the sole purpose of promoting anything except jobs may not attend. Third Party Recruiters may not attend this event.

Registration fee: $525

Registration includes: 10’x10′ booth, 8′ table, 2 chairs, electricity, Wi-Fi, free parking, and lunch for 2 representatives.

Payment: Once your registration has been approved by our office, you will receive an email from Handshake with your invoice and payment instructions. We accept payments via our online payment portal or by mailing a check. Your registration will not be complete until payment is received.

Shipping:Shipping is coordinated through our local UPS Store. Please contact Jeff from UPS at 701-235-9505 (option 9) to receive cost and address information. Items may be shipped up to one week in advance of the event. The Career and Advising Center will coordinate the delivery of items to the Fargodome from The UPS Store, and your shipped package will be waiting at your booth when you arrive for employer check-in. If you prefer to ship with a different vendor, you will need to make your own pick-up arrangements. Please note that any items shipped directly to our office or the Fargodome will be refused.

On-Campus Interviews: On-Campus Interviews (OCIs) are a free opportunity to interview with potential student candidates right after the Career Expo. OCIs will take place at NDSU Memorial Union from 8am-4pm on Thursday, September 24th. Employers will need to schedule their own interviews with the students. If you would like to reserve one or two table for OCIs, you can add this free option under the ‘Add-on Items’ section of the Handshake registration.

Sponsorships: We have several sponsorship opportunities for this fair! Sponsorships can be added during the registration process. Details about each package is included below. Please reach out to Libby Hardwick-Nelson with any questions.

• Gold Level Sponsor ($2000 – 6 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Your logo printed on reusable swag bags given to students at event check-in. • Priority booth location at entrance of the fair • Social media feature leading up to the Expo • Company logo featured on Fargodome TV screens during the fair on a rotation with other sponsors •  Logo featured in an on-campus display promoting event & sponsors in our Memorial Union • Featured on Handshake for a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name highlighted on printed maps handed out at student check-in.
• Green Level Sponsor ($1200 – 10 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Preferred booth location  • Company logo featured on Fargodome TV screens for the duration of the fair on a rotation with other sponsors  • Logo featured in an on-campus display promoting event and sponsors in our Memorial Union • Featured on Handshake for a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name featured on printed map handed out at student check-in.
• Professional Headshots Sponsor ($1000 – 1 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Your logo will be placed at the headshot station with your booth number and a QR code linked to either your Handshake profile or recruiting website • Headshots promoted on social media with company information included • Ability to place marketing handouts for your company at the headshots table, if desired • Featured on Handshake for a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name featured on printed maps handed out at student check-in.
• Water Stations Sponsor ($500 – 3 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Your logo featured at our student water stations with your booth number and a QR code linked to either your Handshake profile or recruiting website • Ability to include your marketing handouts at water stations, if desired • Featured on Handshake on a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name featured on printed maps handed out at student check-in.
