Meet the Firms: Careers in Accounting and Finance

Meet the Firms is for students looking to connect with employers offering internships or full-time positions within the fields of accounting and finance. This fair is open to all NDSU students. This event is not open to the general public.

Student Info:

Meet the Firms is open to NDSU students and alumni who are interested in full-time or internship positions in the fields of accounting and finance. Students from MSUM and Concordia are also welcome to attend. No pre-registration is necessary! Free professional headshots for students will be available at the event from 4-6pm.

What to bring: Student ID and copies of your resume. We recommend dressing professionally.

Prepare for the fair:

  • Check out the Career and Advising Center! We can help with resumes, cover letters, mock interviews, career fair tips, and more. Our office is located in Ceres Hall 306 and we are open Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm for drop-in services or by appointment.

Employer Info:

Employer registration will open July 1, 2026 and will remain open until August 26, 2026, or when space capacity has been met. Meet the Firms: Careers in Accounting and Finance is a career fair for employers looking to hire for part-time, full-time, and/or internship opportunities in the fields of accounting and finance. Current students from NDSU, Concordia, and MSUM are invited to attend. This fair is not open to the general public.

Registration fee: $275

Registration includes: 6′ table, registration for 2 representatives, WiFi, free parking, and refreshments. *Please note we cannot guarantee access to electricity at your table

Payment: Once your registration has been approved by our office, you will receive an email from Handshake with your invoice and payment instructions. We accept payments via our online payment portal or by mailing a check. Your registration will not be complete until payment is received.

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your registration after paying, please review our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

On-Campus Interviews: On-Campus Interviews (OCIs) are a free opportunity to interview with potential student candidates right after the fair. OCIs will take place at Barry Hall on September 10th. Employers will need to schedule their own interviews with the students. If you would like to reserve a room for OCIs, please add it in the ‘Add-on Items’ section of the Handshake registration.

Parking: Parking is available for free in several lots on campus. An email will be sent out to the registrant a week before the event with instructions on how to register your vehicle(s).

Detailed event instructions will be sent out to employer registrants two weeks prior to the fair. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We hope to see you at the fair!
