Build Your Buzz: Networking for Beginners
This Networking event is a student-driven, safe space designed to meet students at their current personal and professional level of development. It’s a welcoming environment where students can learn, grow, and reflect with guidance from professionals. There’s no preparation necessary! Just bring yourself (and your computer) and get ready to learn, grow, and receive advice from community professionals. Learning stations will be set up to help you develop and improve upon a variety of career skills such as elevator pitches, resumes and cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and more! Hear from our keynote speaker Marilyn Arechiga Quintero, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and Ph.D. student. A reminder that this is not a career fair to explore job openings, but an event to practice and develop essential networking skills. This event is open to all FM area college students.
