The Spring Career Expo is our largest fair of the semester! This is an all-industry, all-major career fair that is open to all NDSU students, NDSU alumni, and students from area colleges. This event is not open to the public. Our Career Expos provide great opportunities to network and discuss current or future internship and employment opportunities.

The Spring Career Expo is a great opportunity to connect with employers both locally and from around the country. Whether you are looking for an internship, full-time employment, or want to learn from leaders in your industry, the Career Expo has opportunities for you. This event is open to all current students and alumni, as well as students from universities/colleges in the area. There is no need to register for this fair, just stop by the Fargodome ready to meet over 250 potential employers!  Free headshots will be available at this event for all student attendees from 11am-2pm.

Employer Info:

The Career Expo provides an excellent opportunity for employers to connect with students to discuss current and/or future career-related employment or internships opportunities. This event is only for bona fide employers looking to fill internships and full-time positions that require or prefer at least a four-year degree. Third Party Recruiters and the general public may not attend.

Registration fee: $500

Registration includes: 10’x10′ booth, 8′ table, 2 chairs, electricity, Wi-Fi, free parking, and lunch for 2 representatives.

Payment: Once your registration is approved by our office, you will be sent an email from Handshake with your invoice and payment information. Payment is due by January 22, 2025.  Your registration is not considered complete until payment is processed. We reserve the right to cancel the registration for any employer who has not paid by the due date. We also reserve the right to decline a registration due to repeated delinquent payments.  If you do not receive the invoice email, please check your spam and junk folders before contacting Libby Hardwick-Nelson at libby.hardwicknelson@ndsu.edu to resend the email. If you prefer to mail a check, please contact our office to ensure you have the correct mailing address. Should you need to cancel your registration after paying, please review our cancellation policy.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation received on or before the payment deadline will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellation received after the payment deadline and up to one week prior to the fair, will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation received 6 days or less prior to the event or day-of event no-shows, are non-refundable (see specific dates below). There will be no refunds due to weather-related cancellations (by the employer or NDSU). Registration is non-transferrable. We promote our Career Fairs to the best of our ability, utilizing social media, print media, emails, information sessions, and more. We do not guarantee any level of student attendance and participation, and we do not issue refunds based on student attendance or lack thereof.

• Cancellation on or prior to January 22, 2025: Full refund, less a $50 administrative fee
• Cancellation January 23-29, 2025: 50% refund
• Cancellation after January 29, 2025: No refund

Shipping: Please note that any items shipped directly to the NDSU Career and Advising Center or the Fargodome will be REFUSED. Please ship items through our partners at UPS. Contact Jeff at The UPS Store at 701-235-9505 (option 9) to arrange payment and receive the shipping address. The Career and Advising Center will coordinate the delivery of items to the Fargodome from The UPS Store in time for the event. If you prefer to ship with a different vendor, you will need to make your own arrangements.

On-Campus Interviews: On-Campus Interviews (OCIs) are a great opportunity to connect right away with potential candidates you met at the fair. OCIs will take place at NDSU Memorial Union from 8am-4pm on Thursday, February 6th. If you would like to reserve a table for OCIs, you can add this free option under the ‘Add-on Items’ section of the registration.

• Gold Level Sponsor ($2000 – 6 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Your logo printed on reusable swag bags given to students at event check-in • Logo needs to be submitted by Dec. 30, 2024 to guarantee placement on bags. • Priority booth location at entrance of the fair • Social media feature leading up to the Expo (optional Instagram Stories take-over included) • Company logo featured on Fargodome TV screens during the fair on a rotation with other sponsors •  Logo featured in an on-campus display promoting event & sponsors in our Memorial Union • (Logo needs to be submitted by Jan. 15, 2025 for both features) • Featured on Handshake for a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name highlighted on printed maps handed out at student check-in.
• Green Level Sponsor ($1200 – 10 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Preferred booth location  • Company logo featured on Fargodome TV screens for the duration of the fair on a rotation with other sponsors  • Logo featured in an on-campus display promoting event and sponsors in our Memorial Union  (Logo needs to be submitted by Jan. 15, 2025 to guarantee publication) • Featured on Handshake for a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name featured on printed map handed out at student check-in.
• Professional Headshots Sponsor ($1000 – 1 Available) – This sponsorship includes: • Your logo will be placed at the headshot station with your booth number and a QR code linked to either your Handshake profile or recruiting website (Logo and QR preference needs to be submitted by Jan. 8, 2025) • Headshots promoted on social media with company information included • Ability to place marketing handouts for your company at the headshots table, if desired • Featured on Handshake for a month (increased visibility to students you are targeting for open positions) • “Featured Sponsor” sign placed at booth • Company name featured on printed maps handed out at student check-in.
