What is your favorite part about your internship experience?
My favorite part of my internship experience is learning about the engineering industry and getting experience.
What is the most challenging part of your internship? How have you overcome these obstacles?
The most challenging part of my internship was learning Autocad. I have overcome this obstacle by spending time practicing and getting familiar whenever I get the chance.
How did you find your internship?
Through a Career Fair or Career Expo at NDSU. My advice to students going to career fairs is to take the time to talk to the company, even if the company has a long line.
Why was it beneficial for you to register for academic credit through the Internship Program offered through the Career and Advising Center?
Getting credits for my internship through the Career and Advising Center fulfilled a tech elective requirement for my major.
What advice would you give a student who is in the process of searching and applying for an internship?
Take the time to apply at every internship you can find, don’t get stuck on one company.
