My favorite part of my internship experience is all that I learned from the people and the job.
What is the most challenging part of your internship? How have you overcome these obstacles?
The most challenging parts of my internship were learning new tools quickly and adjusting to a new environment. Taking the time to learn and asking lots of questions helped me.
How did you find your internship?
I heard about my internship through my MIS professor, Limin Zhang. What helped me was putting myself out there because someone took a chance on me.
Why was it beneficial for you to register for academic credit through the Internship Program offered through the Career and Advising Center?
Getting credits for my internship through the Career and Advising Center was beneficial because I received education reimbursement from Doosan Bobcat and it fulfilled requirements for my program.
What advice would you give a student who is in the process of searching and applying for an internship?
I would advise students to start looking early, research companies, and connect with current employees.
