- Why did you choose the company that you work for?

I chose Agassiz because they offered a great internship position in their sales department, which is something I’ve wanted to be apart of since I graduated high school.

- What were some of the requirements for your internship?

Some of the requirements for this position included self motivation, strong communication and time management skills, being able to work independently within a team environment, and customer service skills.

- What is your favorite part about your internship experience?

My favorite part of this internship is delivering products to customers around the state and getting to communicate with them. I also enjoy being able to assist them in finding the perfect product.

- What is the most challenging part of your internship? How have you overcome these obstacles?

I would say the most challenging part of my internship would be learning and mastering all of our different products.

I think it is very beneficial to receive credits through the Internship Program because internships are a great learning experience and can help students decide on their future.

- What advice would you give a student who is in the process of applying for an internship?

My advice would be to attend as many Career Fairs as you can. You can learn a lot about the different types of jobs that are out there, and maybe even change your mind on what you want to do in the future. When it comes to applying for internships, I would recommend applying to multiple places, ask questions, and do what you think is best for YOU.
