- Create 3D models to print and use during the manufacturing process. Create work instructions for machines or software. Assist the other engineers with their tasks.

Seeing what I created being used in the manufacturing process.

- What is the most challenging part of your internship? How have you overcome these obstacles?

Trying to take the specifications and requirements for the 3D models and translating them into a functional model. I have overcome this by learning more how to use Solidworks as well as communicating thoroughly with the people requesting the models.

My advice to incoming interns is to apply to as many internships as you can and to go to the NDSU Career Fair.
