We are just days away from the Fall 2019 Career Expo and that means the Career and Advising Center is doing all that we can to get you prepared to speak with the record high number of employers this year’s expo. Check out the below events to ensure you are prepared to make your best impression!

Pitch Perfect – practice your elevator pitch with real employers who will give you feedback

When: Wednesday, September 18 (TODAY!)
2pm – 4:30pm (Drop by for as little or as long as you like)
Where: Hidatsa Room, Upper Level of the Memorial Union

Student-led Professionalism Workshop

Want to know which skills NDSU students said were most beneficial in landing them a job? Wish you were more confident in networking scenarios and able to connect with employers more effectively? Tired of talking to employers about the same things over and over?

Come to our student-led professionalism workshop! Topics such as Elevator pitches, resumes, networking, and career-fair tips and tricks will be covered. This event is designed by students, for students and will touch on the things they have found to be most helpful through the years. An Employer from the community will be present to give you insight on the types of things they like to see and hear as well as answer questions. No registration is required, just show up!

Who: This event is open to all NDSU students
Where: A Glenn Hill Center room 126
When: Thursday, September 19th from 4pm – 5:30/6 pm
What is needed: A copy of your resume

When: Monday, September 23rd from 12:00 – 5:00 pm
Where: CME Cubicle
