Women in Business is an organization that is new to NDSU’s campus. The young women in this organization have “hit the ground running” by setting up regular meetings, facilitating off campus tours of local businesses, and attending networking events to meet professionals in their desired fields!
But, why? Why would students in the College of Business have the desire to create a student organization like this in the first place? The mission of Women in Business is “to create a community of women who inspire and support each other in their careers. This organization strives to expand career, leadership and networking opportunities for women at North Dakota State University.”
Clearly, other young women from the College believe in this mission, as over 50 students attended their first meeting! Would you like to get involved too? Contact Sammi Wojcik, Co-Founder and Co-President, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (763)954-0167.
